As the Sponsor of the Michigan Elks Association, I
am extremely proud to say that Michigan Elks continue to be on the cutting edge
and ready, willing and able to meet the challenges of the new Millennium. The
Elks of Michigan and their families are constant leaders in aiding our youths,
veterans, handicapped children and those in our communities who are less
fortunate and in need of assistance.
As you browse through the various topics and articles on this site, you will get a very good picture of what Elkdom is all about and how Michigan demonstrates that “Elks Care – Elks Share”.
Michigan’s 73 Elks Lodges are deeply committed to
the betterment of their communities and surrounding areas through charitable and patriotic service. Those of you who are reading and learning about
ELKS for the first time through this Web Site, I encourage you to visit a local
Lodge and get involved. To all Michigan Elks, I congratulate you and say that
you can stand tall and proud of what you accomplish through your Lodge and your
State Association.
