Charlevoix Lodge No. 2856 raised and donated over $ 3,300.00 to Major Project. The monies raised was from pledges from the community to Elk members to take a “plunge” into Lake Michigan at 11:00 am on Thanksgiving Day morning.

This event was spearheaded and organized by John McNabb, Lodge Inner Guard, who has been involved in this event for several years. Each year an extremely worthwhile cause has been the recipient of the funds. This year, Michigan’s newest Lodge decided that Major Project would be that recipient because of our efforts assisting Special Needs children.
