Please inform all Lodges in your District that they have
permission to upgrade from Yuma 6 to CLMS1 or if not running Yuma 6 to download CLMS1 and install; and they are encouraged to do so as quickly as possible.
Our District coordinators are in place and our Michigan
Operating Manual (MOM) is ready to be used. Their conversion now will make our CLMS presentation at the Spring Convention much more meaningful to them.
These are their help lines: Jack McDaniel, East Central
989-892-7135; Lorraine Massicotte, 906-776-1086; David Fisher 734-425-2246, Lodge, 734-522-1854 home, Ron Zimmerman, 269-467-4969; George Scott, 269-231-0333 and Ed Geishert Jr. 517-617-3663 (7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 7
days) You are free to call anyone listed here and if for some reason they cannot answer your question or if they think the problem deserves more attention they will pass you off to me.
As you convert to CLMS please
email me informing me that you have converted and I will get a copy of MOM to you. If you have questions, concerns, reservations or are just plain scared, call me. I've been using the Chicago Lodge Membership System
for about 2-3 months and have not encountered ANY of the problems associated with Yuma 6. Our programming guys at Grand Lodge did the job right.
For everyone's information, a high speed internet connection is
needed to download CLMS. A dial up will require about 4 hours and you are guaranteed to be timed out of the download session before it's complete. For those Lodges that have a dialup connection, call 888-604-CLMS
(Chicago helpdesk) and ask to be mailed a CD-Rom of the program.
Fraternally,
Edwin Geishert Jr, PSP Michigan State Coordinator Chicago Lodge Membership System
