THE MID-ATLANTIC SOCCER SHOOT

We are the first team from Michigan to participate in these Regional Finals. How exciting!
The Mid-Atlantic Shoot consists of State Champions from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, DC, West Virginia, Kentucky, and now US, Michigan. We have state champions in four age groups (under 8, under 10, under 12, and under 14 years old - as of August 1st - a boy and girl from each age group). Each contestant receives a new state uniform, a new state champion warm up, each receives a trophy, and a soccer ball for participating. There is also a trophy given to 1 boy and 1 girl for having the highest score.
As far as I know, this will be the agenda for the finals...
FRIDAY, March 12: Arrival day - Registration opens up in the early afternoon and the Carlisle Lodge hosts the Welcome Party. Pizza and snacks around 5pm and the indoor pool is open to all (not exactly sure if the lodge has a pool or not - maybe they mean the hotel which is 5 minutes away). Pizza and snacks are open until about 10pm.
SATURDAY, March 13: We begin with a buffet breakfast at the lodge then onto the school for the contest. Lunch at the Carlisle Lodge (hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, and subs), then the champions have the afternoon free to sight see or go back to the pool. The Awards banquet begins at 6pm with dinner. Every contestant receives a trophy and has their picture taken.
SUNDAY, March 14: Continental breakfast at the hotel and we travel home.
