On June 25^th Sharon and I, along with our playing partners Randy Jackson and Kerry Kandra, played in the Big Rapids Elks golf outing. The event was a huge success and the winner was the Women’s Cancer Center. Special thanks go out to all the volunteers that made this event special. Exalted Ruler, Chad Currie and golf Chairman, Tom Stellard, can be very proud of their hard work and efforts.

The day was filled with many exciting moments but the highlight for me came on the second hole when I hit the pin (flag) from a hundred and forty yards out. It was an easy birdie!

The day ended with a steak dinner, awards, and prizes. Yes, our group did win some of the special events. A great time was had by all those who participated. We will continue to practice for next year, as we know we will be back.
